Verbal Reasoning (VR1)
Measures high
level verbal fluency, vocabulary and the ability to understand and reason using
words.
This test is appropriate for
jobs which require a very high level of
verbal ability, such as senior management, sales and administrative positions,
systems analysts, marketing and advertising executives.
Numerical Reasoning (NR1)
Measures
the ability to use and understand complex
numerical concepts, to reason using numbers and perceive logical relationships
between them.
This test is appropriate for
jobs which require a very high level of numerical ability, such as accountants and others in the financial
services sector, and all senior positions which require dealing with financial
and technical data.
Abstract Reasoning (AR1)
Measures
the ability to understand high level abstract
logical problems and use new information outside the range of previous
experience. This is the purest form of mental ability and is least affected by
previous education and achievement.
This test is appropriate for
jobs, which require
the use of logical analysis in novel, intellectually demanding situations, such
as technical and scientific posts and senior management positions.
